Application deadline: 31 August 2007
The Arts and Culture Program of the Open Society Institute aims to promote collaborative artistic and/or cultural efforts by offering support to individuals and organizations in order to foster cross-border partnership and cooperation and to contribute to intercultural understanding.
Currently call for applications under 'Partnership for Development' Program is announced, which is open to applicants from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Mongolia, Turkey, and Afghanistan.
The two major requirements for projects to receive support under this Program are that each project must simultaneously involve partners from three countries listed above (the curators of the Program will consider projects that involve partners from Russia, however); and that projects must have or be aimed at long term effects.
Applications may be submitted by individuals or primary cultural organizations in the target countries. In some cases, i.e. multidisciplinary projects, etc. applications may be submitted by public organizations. Application deadline is 31 August 2007.
Projects that already have partial financing will be given priority.
Detailed information and Program Terms are given in Russian and English at the Open Society Institute web site.
