14th Alacati International Theatre Festival for Children & Youth will be organized by TOBAV (Theatre Opera and Ballet members foundation) in collaboration with the Municipality of Alacati on 23rd and 28th June 2008.
Municipality of Alacati related to Izmir and Cesme is an intersection, where the multinational people meet in the same place, and is a cute place which has got many historical values.
With combination all invited groups under the slogan of "All Alacati is a theatre stage", Alacati will be a living theatre platform.
We believe that theatre removes the international borders and makes positive relations among the people from different cultures. One of the most basic aims of the Festival is to provide knowledge and experience exchange among the 'young' people having different social and cultural points of view. The Festival, to which three native and three foreign groups will be join, will be symbol of friendship and brotherhood.
Accommodation and food outcomes will be provided by Municipality of Alacati and transport of the Festival will be provided by participant groups. Participant amount of the groups will be maximum 15 (fifteen) (including technical personnel).
If you wish to join the Festival, you must apply to TOBAV General Center by fulfilling appended application form with CD of play, photographs, brochures and posters until 4th April 2008. Play Selections will be realized by jury which will be founded by TOBAV.
