YOUR CHANCE! invites applications from theatre students and graduates. “Na Strastnom” Theatre Center of the Theatre Union of Russia will host the IV YOUR CHANCE! Festival on 12 May - 12 June, 2008. The Festival is organized with the support of the Theatre Union of the Russian Federation and Moscow City Committee for Culture.
YOUR CHANCE! aims to break the geographical barriers, create a common youth theatre space and provide the ground for cultural and professional exchange between young Russian and international actors and directors.
The Festival seeks to present the best student and graduate performances, to discover and promote new stars in the theatre, to research and develop new theatre language and techniques.
Special program of workshops, lectures, round tables will be organized for the festival participant.
The programme of the Festival is currently in the process of being compiled. Student performances from Russia, Great Britain, Germany, Canada, Finland, Norway, the U.S.A., Italy, France, Czech Republic, Belgium, Switzerland will be presented at 2008.
The Festival is still open for applications, deadline: February 10, 2008. If for any reason you cannot submit the required materials before the deadline but you would like to participate, please contact the organizers.
