ICCM and the University of Salzburg launches a powerfull restart of the former 14 Summeracademies with participants from 60 nations worldwide.
The Summer University is seen as an “east-west, north-south” meeting point for cultural professionals from around the world. It is both a learning centre and a cooperation platform, where participants engage with and learn from the experience of each other. The Summer University’s focus remains on Global Cultural Leadership and capacity building for the cultural fields.
The Summer University is structured to meet the needs of the broadest population of students and working professionals. Eligible to participate in Summer University sessions are:
- Qualified students with field experience
- Young professionals.
The fee for the Summeruniversity is 950,-- Euro, without accomodation and visits cultural programme.
ICCM will help to find cheap accomodations and will offer very reasonable prices for tickets of the Salzburg Festival.
The Summer University is structured in the way that allows meeting the needs of both students and working professionals in a variety of cultural disciplines. The structural components of the Summer University are:
A: SEMINARS in the two main areas of study;
1) Workshop on management of cultural projects, with the elements
Project development
Project management
Finance & fundraising
Stakeholder management & costumer relationship management
Marketing of projects
2) Related subjects of interest
Cultural studies to analyze a project’s environment
Cultural producers as entrepreneurs
Property law & copyright industries
Festival management
