The book includes five works written by N.M. Tarabukin, one of the leading theorists and historians of art, about V.E. Meyerhold’s performances of 1828–1935. While author was alive, these works were not published. Appendix contains autobiography of Tarabukin, materials connected to his work at the State Experimental Theatrical Workshops (GEKTEMAS), and list of his books and articles.
