13-16 June 2009, London, UK. Applications deadline: 31 January 2009
The Greek Music and Performing Arts Festival is a vibrant, new artistic event seeking to explore the world of art through the lens of Greek culture. It takes place between 13 and 16 June 2009 in London and aims to provide a dynamic, creative space for Greek and international artists to pioneer their work. It is also the first Festival dedicated to introducing Greek contemporary arts to a British audience.
It particularly welcomes young and upcoming artists and performers. It encourages collaboration among artists and invites them to present work that offers a unique artistic perspective or explores new artistic pathways.
The Festival invites proposals for participation in its 2009 programme of events from Greek and international artists, performers and groups in the fields of traditional, classical and contemporary or experimental music, composition, song, theatre and performing arts, dance, movement and visual arts.
Deadline for receipt of applications: 31 January 2009.
