The Department of Theatre Arts in Tel-Aviv University invites theatre artists, playwrights, writers and students to participate in the annual competition for theatrical works based on the Hebrew Bible.
Participants are asked to submit a short play or a proposal for a performance piece (in case this is not based on a written play), 30-45 minutes in length, which is based on texts from the Hebrew Bible (The Old Testament). Proposals for performance pieces which are not based on a written play should include visual materials for demonstration.
The proposal which wins the First Prize will be fully produced at the Department of Theatre Arts in Tel-Aviv University during Spring 2010. Second and Third Prize proposals will be directed as dramatic readings.
