NITRA is one of the most well-known European festivals, with performances selected by the festival’s artistic leadership and with special focus on foreign theatre professionals.
NITRA gives a great opportunity to see the best European performances of the season and to meet the key figures of international theatre world. The program consists of official, unofficial parts and extra productions.
The festival aims at showing it’s participants and visitors essential trends and problems of Slovak theatre. It’s another goal is to give artists an opportunity to carry out different theatre experiments.
The main target audience of NITRA is youth.
Prior reservation is open from 25th July to 25th August for all theatre professionals (directors, festival co-operators, journalists, theatre students) on the website – www.nitrafest.sk/registration.Organizers will assist guests with a hotel reservation at special festival rates. They’ll also offer profi discount on tickets to theatre professionals. Some performances are played on limited capacity venues – ticket reservations will be dealt with on first-come-first-served basis, and booking in advance is recommended.
