The decibel Performing Arts Showcase 2009

The decibel Performing Arts Showcase is an Arts Council England funded initiative. It was created to support and encourage diverse practice in the performing arts, by providing a platform for artists from African, Asian and Caribbean backgrounds to showcase their work to programmers for touring opportunities.

At the showcase delegates will have an unrivalled opportunity to see extracts of exciting new, tour ready and developing work, as well as take part in pitches and meet some of the imaginative and talented artists responsible for creating the work.

The performances have been selected for their creative excellence and ability to appeal to national and international audiences. Guests will be able to see the best work from artists with diverse practice, including those who may have had limited opportunities to participate in the arts. This includes, but is not limited to, artists from black and minority ethnic backgrounds and disabled people.

Programmed around the showcase performances are a series of Complementary Activities:

After you submit your form, organizers will send you an invoice to complete payment. Once we have processed your registration, your account will be authorised and you can log in to book your desired shows.
