8-11 October 2009, Vilnius, Lithuania. Registration deadline: 7 September 2009; Travel Grants deadline: 25 August 2009
In 2009 IETM Autumn Plenary Meeting will be devoted to the Eastern theatre. The meeting in Vilnius will deal with Eastern promises on the one hand and Western expectations on the other. It will explore new colonization of all sorts, going from the East to the West and vice versa; and the territories culture and art have colonized in our own societies.
Not only members of IETM but non-members too can come to the meeting: online registration is required. Registration is free for those who are either the first representative of an IETM member organization attending the meeting or speaker, moderator or trainer selected and invited by the organizers. In any other case you must pay for the registration. See ITEM registration form and fees.
IETM makes several travel grants available for each Plenary Meeting. The grants can cover a part (up to 75%) of the travel and accommodation expenses in connection with the meeting. To apply for the grant you must download the application form, fill in and send it back to organizers before 25 August 2009. See Travel Grants Guidelines.
Tickets for the performances can be booked in advance via the IETM online booking system. Pre-booked tickets will be distributed upon arrival for a fee of 10 ?, and this will include entrance to all performances.
The meeting will take place at Menu spaustuve (Arts Printing House), a performing arts centre.
A number of hotels were pre-booked by IETM participants at discount prices. To book the accommodation you must download the reservation form, fill and return it by email: email@example.com or by fax: +370 5 2128190. The prices and availability of rooms are guaranteed until September 7th. See list of pre-booked hotels.
Participants from some countries need visa to go to Lithuania. As visa issuance takes time, organizers strongly recommend to start the procedure as soon as possible. Contact the Plenary Meeting team on firstname.lastname@example.org regarding all visa questions before Tuesday 1st September 2009. More visa information.
